Resene Designer Selection Shows
Did we say NZFW was industry only? Well not the hugely popular Resene Designer Selection Show.Showcasing in-season looks from every designer showing at NZFW, the Resene Designer Selection Show provides a spectacular overview of the best of New Zealand fashion. This show is repeated four times throughout the week so you can choose which session you want to attend, and your ticket gives you access to the venue at any time on the day of your chosen show, so you can grab a drink beforehand and settle in for some people (or let’s admit it, shoe and handbag) watching. There are two ticket types, standard + standard goodie bag, or premium + premium goodie bag, and your DSS ticket also gives you free entry into NZ Fashion Weekend – that’s a whole lot of fashion and beauty for your buck!

NZ Fashion Weekend
If NZFW is all about us, then NZ Fashion Weekend is all about YOU. Once the new-season shows have wrapped, the doors of the ANZ Viaduct Events Centre open to the public. The weekend is packed full of individual and group designer selection shows (where designers show off their in-season collections), but while these shows are the main event, there is so much more to see and do and the best bit is you can pick and choose exactly what suits you.

Tickets to NZ Fashion Weekend work like this:
• $20 (per day) gives you entry to the venue. Score some designer bargains from the Designer Pop-Up Sale, swing by the Beauty Hub for special offers from Smashbox and OPI (S10 mani anyone?), then grab a table at one of the fabulous on-site bars and chill out with your friends while listening to the sounds of Auckland’s top DJs.
• $25 gives you a Standard seat to one show or session of your choosing, plus all of the above.
• $40 gives you a Premium seat to one show or session of your choosing, a goodie-bag & access to everything else on-site!

Our pick of designer selection shows is, of course, the unmissable Fashion Quarterly Presents show! This year we’ve put together an edit of the best in-season looks by some of our favourite NZ designers—Juliette Hogan, Helen Cherry/Workshop, Miss Crabb, TK Store, and Zambesi.
Tickets can be purchased from iTicket

Nude by Nature bus

P.S. Don’t forget to pop by the Nude by Nature bus while you’re down at the Viaduct Events Centre. We’ve teamed up with their talented makeup artists, who will be on hand to give you a makeup touch-up or mini makeover with their 100% naturally derived mineral makeup so you will be front-row ready for all the shows! Plus, tell them why you want to breakup with your old makeup and you could take home their new Mineral Pressed Powder for free!

NZ Fashion Weekend Opening Party + NZFW After party
The NZ Fashion Weekend festivities kick off at the ANZ Viaduct Events Centre from 6pm on Friday August 28. Kate Sylvester’s runway presentation of her in-season ‘Romeo 4 Juliet’ collection (debuted at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia in April) will take place at 8pm, before Auckland DJ’s The Sweet Mix Kids arrive to turn the party up a notch. At 11:30pm, party-goers are invited to move on to Britomart’s 1885 for the Official NZFW after-party.
