This makeup trick is GENIUS!
Remember how Kylie Jenner’s makeup artist Hrush Achemyan taught us how to create perfectly sharp eyeliner using scotch tape? Well it turns out, Kylie has taken that makeup trick on board for when she takes over her friend’s faces.
In her latest Glam video, Kylie does tutor-turned-friend Tiffany’s makeup and proves she’s got the whole scotch tape sitch down pat because she practices on the reg.
“I do Tiffany’s makeup all the time”, Kylie reveals, “like any time I’m bored or sad”.
In fact, Kylie showed us it’s possible for her to do makeup without being too heavy-handed. Here’s what we learnt:
1. Line the eyes using scotch tape
To get the most swoon-worthy, neat eyeliner, apply sticky tape along your eye. Just be careful when you peel it off – as Tiffany exclaims, “oh my God it hurts”.
2. Contour and blend
For razor sharp contouring, Kylie reveals, “you start at the line at the top of your ear”, shading down along the hollows of your cheeks. Kylie uses a Beauty Blender for a flawless finish.
3. Pack on the powder
Kylie builds up the powder onto Tiffany’s under eye concealer to help set it in place and so it goes the distance.
4. Of course there was some lip service
They only use Kylie Lip Kit “because… it’s the best”. We can’t wait to try her new lipstick line.
All in all, we’re surprised Kylie’s opted for a minimalistic look. But we like it.
