5 things we love this week

Emma Lewisham launches on Goop, everything we’re adding to cart from RUBY’s new collection, and a weekly shortcast for post-holiday watercooler chat that has nothing to do with the weather.

1. All systems glow

The cult skincare brand Emma Lewisham has launched on Goop by Gwyneth Paltrow making it the first-ever New Zealand beauty brand to feature. As a true pioneer in the circular beauty industry, the luxury science-based skincare brand has set an exciting benchmark, bringing high performance and natural formulas to an even larger market. Unrelenting in their pursuit for creating a positive impact on skin and the planet, Emma Lewisham’s brand launch on Goop follows their B Corp certification achieved in 2022, bringing their hero products – including the Skin Reset Serum, Illuminating Oil Cleanser, Supernatural Face Crème Riche and Supernatural Face Oil – to a global market. Is there anything this incredible changemaker can’t do?

2. Strong start

Setting our obliques on fire and our wellbeing resolutions in motion is Fluidform’s Clean & Green Challenge. The 21-day challenge, which kicked off earlier this week, prioritises movement and wholesome eating in a gentle and supportive way. Spoiler alert: we’re just a few days in and we’re already feeling stronger. Available on their online platform Fluidform at Home, the Clean & Green Challenge includes a 21-day calendar with daily workouts offering both beginner and advanced options, and a meal plan brimming with fresh and fast recipes to support healthy eating. New members also receive a free equipment pack to get their at-home setup sorted. So, if you’re looking for an excuse, you won’t find it. They’ve made it ~that~ simple.

3. Shore thing

In a bid to slide summer’s radiant nonchalance into our back-to-work wardrobes, RUBY has released their first drop for 2023. Aptly named ‘Snorkel’, RUBY’s collection of charming pieces wades through sun-kissed hues and inherently feminine silhouettes to help you ease into the new year. You can expect fluid lines and painterly prints that stand on their own or combine with relaxed tailoring for effortless structure.

Shop RUBY’s Snorkel collection in-store or online from January 19th, 2023.

4. Thread lightly

Introducing the business-meets-leisure essential you didn’t know you needed. Deadly Ponies’ recently released Thread capsule reimagines their recognisable shapes with the raw tactility of a stunning new textile which blends linen with jute and juxtaposes it with their iconic gold chain detailing. It’s sculptural, it’s sensual, and it’s bringing the gentlewoman energy we’re manifesting for 2023. With references lifted from trompe l’oeil effects, an illusion used in art and architecture, this iteration will stand the test of time.

Available only at Deadly Ponies stores in Auckland, Wellington and Melbourne, and online at deadlyponies.com

5. On top
