Increase hydration

To heal sun-damaged skin you need extra moisture. Choosing a moisturiser that touts hyaluronic acid as an ingredient is a good start, mostly because it absorbs water, meaning it works to give a fullness and plumpness to the skin. Another great product to try is the new Kiehl’s Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturising Serum Concentrate, $90. US-based dermatologist Dr Adam Geyer says this product is formulated to have both instant and future benefits. “With consistent use, over time the skin’s barrier function is strengthened, which can diminish the penetration of harmful environmental oxidising agents and free radicals into the skin,” he says. “In turn this can translate to healthier skin that ages more slowly.”
