If you’ve been feeling a Valentino stiletto-shaped hole in your life lately, then we have great news for you!

David Jones Wellington opens later this month, and alongside Valentino, the iconic department store will offer accessories from other coveted international labels such as Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen – the first time these luxury brands have been made available in New Zealand.

The three-level store will also house luxury and contemporary jewellery brands including Monica Vinader and Samantha Wills; accessory brands like Mimco and Raymond Weil; and leading New Zealand designers Karen Walker, Kate Sylvester and twenty-seven names among others.

The beauty offering is equally enticing – Tom Ford, Aesop, Benefit, M.A.C and Le Mer will be just a few of the names found on counter.

“We are confident we’ve collated a unique and exciting offering that will delight our New Zealand customers. Our brand mix for Wellington incorporates many of the popular brands Wellingtonians know and love, but with a fresh take on breadth of range and format instore, combined with a variety of international brands that are new to Wellington or New Zealand,” says David Thomas, David Jones’ Chief Operating Officer.

The store is set to open on Lambton Quay July 28.
