Cocktail of the week: Aperol spritz

Originating in northern Italy, Aperol spritz has become a popular summer drink. It’s a great way to start a meal and whet the appetite.

  • prosecco (or another dry sparkling white wine)
  • 1/2 cup ice-cubes
  • dash of soda
  • aperol aperitif
  • 1 slice lime or orange, to garnish

  1. Pour prosecco into a glass over ice-cubes.
  2. Add the dash of soda and top with Aperol.
  3. Gently stir with a spoon and garnish with a lime or orange slice.
