Originating in northern Italy, Aperol spritz has become a popular summer drink. It’s a great way to start a meal and whet the appetite.
- prosecco (or another dry sparkling white wine)
- 1/2 cup ice-cubes
- dash of soda
- aperol aperitif
- 1 slice lime or orange, to garnish
- Pour prosecco into a glass over ice-cubes.
- Add the dash of soda and top with Aperol.
- Gently stir with a spoon and garnish with a lime or orange slice.
