Each week the Fashion Quarterly team rounds up what to read, buy, see, shop, drink and eat.

1. Rebe Winter 2021

The much anticipated Rebe Winter 2021 is here, bringing us gorgeous and versatile knee-high boot styles handmade in Italy. The boots are designed to fit into the wearer’s wardrobe with ease: pair them with jeans, skirts, or knitted midi dresses both day and night.

Designer Rebe Burgess says, “I was fortunate to meet with an Italian producer a few years ago who create beautiful footwear for the likes of Yves Saint Laurent & Tod’s. Whānau means everything to me and my producers are a very close-knit family run business, they’ve been producing footwear since the 1950s. Each style is produced entirely by hand and so much love and care goes into the craftsmanship of our footwear”.

2. JH Puffer

Juliette Hogan brings everyday luxury and simple sophistication to the classic puffer with the introduction of JH Down. Featuring jackets and coats made from recycled outerwear and recycled down, these beautiful pieces are perfect for travel, weekend escapes and off duty days.

“It’s been a welcome challenge to bring my own sense of luxury to such a purposeful item as the puffer… creating something for those cold outdoor moments, whether in the city or out in nature that still made me feel like I was putting on something really special”, says Juliette Hogan.

4. Sala 2.0

Changing the fitness landscape since its opening in 2018, this week, SALA opened a second studio in the same space to diversify its offerings.

Sala 2.0 includes all-new Barre classes taught by trained dancers in an architecturally designed room. Blackened mirrors reflect a duotone image of yourself and others, offering a calming, non-confrontational feeling to encourage far more freedom of movement.
