We spend plenty of time asking those who work in fashion what they’re wearing, buying and coveting. But often the most interesting glimpse into someone’s taste isn’t found in their wardrobe, but on their bedside table.For this inaugural edition of the FQ Book Club, we asked a group of New Zealand designers, stylists, photographers, writers and creatives to turn their attention from fashion to fiction (and everything in between), sharing the book they’ve just finished, the one currently keeping them up at night and what they plan to pick up next. From literary fiction and memoirs to publishing tell-alls, historical epics and recommendations passed between friends, their reading lists are as varied as you’d expect. Consider this a little literary nosiness (and plenty of inspiration for your own bedside stack).
