The things you'll want to wear, shop, admire, and indulge in.

1. Covet: the much-anticipated Levi's x Ganni collection is unveiled

The season’s must-have collaboration is nearly here — Levi’s x Ganni returns with a natural-hued collection inspired by mother nature.

Made from 55% certified organic cotton and natural dyes and using water-saving practices, the eight-piece collection brings back Ganni’s beloved ruffled bib collar alongside gorgeous denim staples like a floor-sweeping maxi and a sunshine-hued dress.

The campaign imagery features content creator Emma Chamberlain and friends. Speaking of the collection, Ganni creative director Ditte Reffstrup says, “I can’t believe this is our third collaboration with Levi’s, it’s such a testament to the power of working together! We have been aligned on our visions from the very beginning and we continue to grow and learn from each other. The collection is a perfect mix of signature Levi’s and GANNI elements and I love the humor-infused campaign”.

Levi’s x Ganni launches worldwide on 18 August, available in New Zealand from levis.co.nz.

2. Try: the RevitaLash masque promising softer, more nourished lashes & brows

Beauty pioneer RevitaLash Cosmetics has amazed us again with its newly debuted, first-of-its-kind Lash & Brow Masque.

The potent masque is formulated to protect lashes and brows from breakage and repair the effects of over-styling, daily make-up usage, and damage from lamination or perms, all things we’re certainly guilty of.

Gaining the FQ seal of approval for soft, hydrated hairs, don’t just take our word for it — an independent consumer study of the Lash & Brow Masque revealed that 80% reported more hydrated lashes and brows after just one use. After three weeks, 91% reported more hydrated lashes and brows, 89% confirmed healthier-looking lashes and brows, and 85% claimed the formula repaired, replenished, and strengthened lashes and brows.

A mere 15 minutes is all it takes twice a week, and if you’re looking to multi-task, we recommend applying a facial mask or treatment while you’re at it.

Healthier, softer, and shinier lashes and brows are just a swipe away: discover the RevitaLash Cosmetics Lash & Brow Masque (presently available within the Au Naturale collection for lashes and as a stand-alone product from 15 August) at revitalash.co.nz

3. Admire: an original Yu Mei staple returns

Fondly named after Yu Mei founder Jessie Wong’s long-time friend Laura Braid, the Yu Mei ‘Braidy’ is a bag that can “fit a laptop, jersey, and the kitchen sink”, making it the perfect carry-all for students, professionals, mothers, and frequent flyers.

When Yu Mei revised the ‘Braidy’ in February 2022, many customers requested the original design’s return. This is why tomorrow (Saturday 13 August), the label is dropping a limited-edition run of the original Braidy in exclusive colourways and fabrications, all from production scraps and second-grade leathers.

Discover the limited-run of the original Braidy, online at yumeibrand.com from 13 August until stocks last. For early access, sign up to Club Yu Mei

4. Applaud: the local fashion campaign celebrating real people

Canterbury of New Zealand, one of the country’s oldest brands (established in 1904), teamed up with Kiwi visual artist Tom Gould to create its latest campaign, ‘The World’s Toughest Activewear’.

Gould has worked with renowned publications and recording artists worldwide, and had his photography exhibited at MoMA. He has created a striking campaign video and photography featuring real people from the Te Tairāwhiti (Gisborne) region — an area that suffered extensive damage from floods and a cyclone in March this year.

Through Gould’s series of images and film, the community’s unique stories that typify resilience are told.

5. Indulge: Queenstown's champagne celebrations with G.H. Mumm x Coronet Peak

We finally have a good reason to rejoice in the chilly winter weather. Fresh powder and bluebird days have arrived just in time to celebrate Coronet Peak’s 75th anniversary, and what better way to mark the occasion than toasting with a glass of G.H. Mumm.

Across August, the champagne house will host a series of exquisite dining experiences as part of the 75th-anniversary celebrations.

The series kicks off on 18 August with a not-to-be-missed Champagne Brunch at Heidi’s Hut in Rocky Gully, where guests will be treated to a mouth-watering array of delicacies while taking in the breathtaking views.

There’s also a long lunch on the 19th — complete with a retro-inspired fashion show — and a black-tie gala dinner on 20 August to celebrate 75 years of Coronet Peak.
