The Raw Facial
We’ve all heard of (and no doubt taste-tested) raw brownies, raw cheesecake and even raw pizza but there’s a new treatment in town that’s taking healthy living to the next level – the Raw Facial.

The Raw Kitchen’s Olivia Scott and Ashleigh Scott, director and facialist at Ashleigh Scott Facialist, have teamed up to create this radiance-boosting, hydrating treatment inspired by Olivia’s recent trip to Bali where she’s experience a raw facial for the first time. I was lucky enough to try this blissful experience for myself when the facial launched a few weeks ago and I’m pretty sure half an hour spent lying back in a warm, fragrant room having cooling, fresh ingredients painted on my skin had me feeling as blissed out as I would have felt in a beachside sun lounger.

In the same way a fresh bowl of fruit salad gives your body a healthy dose of nutrients, the carefully crafted blend of natural ingredients in the Raw Facial help to rejuvenate your skin and leave you looking glowing and radiant. Steps in the treatment include a deliciously fragrant papaya, pineapple and mango mask to boost enzymes (which tingles invitingly as it’s applied), a green tea soak to even out skin tone and increase moisture, a honey and lemon mask to nourish the skin and Ashleigh Scott’s own Tribeca Oils for hydration.

If you’re hankering for a holiday but find yourself desk-bound until Christmas, the Raw Facial is 30 minutes of pure escapism as its best. This treatment is available during spring, until the end of November at Ashleigh Scott Facialist.
