The accessory trend fashion editors love (that will only set you back $5)

Fans of the choker include Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and The Blonde Salad blogger Chiara Ferragni

Just one of the many 90’s trends that have been reincarnated this season, the choker is back and better than ever.

Appearing on the necks of fashion editors, bloggers and ‘It’ girls everywhere (Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and The Blonde Salad’s Chiara Ferragni are all fans), the choker is arguably the chicest yet most accessible and affordable trend to date.

The best part about it? Adding one to your accessory line-up won’t cost you the earth.

The choker can be fashioned from a simple black ribbon tied at the back of the neck for a clean, sophisticated look.

One of my fave looks!

Or use a thin, waxed shoelace to wrap around the neck twice and then tie in a bow for a more playful style.

An easy addition to any outfit, the choker is without a doubt our favourite accessory this season. And it’s not often we come across a trend that costs the same as our morning coffee!
