Spring trend: The clash of the florals

20 October 2015
By Fashion Quarterly

There’s no doubt about it, this spring we’re feeling botani-cool

Clash of the florals
L-R: Leigh Lezark, Paris; Karen Walker AW15; Helena Bordon, Paris.

A rich colour base overlaid with intricate floral fancy is our inspiration as wedding season gets underway. Don’t be afraid to mix prints – it’s all about finding your groove. Leigh Lezark of DJ trio, The Misshapes, proves there’s always a place for florals in the front row as she poses during Paris Fashion Week, adding attitude to her ensemble with a stud-embellished emerald clutch and timeless nude pumps.

Think feminine with a dark edge – we’re doing away with twee and welcoming  a bolder take on botanical prints.
