Summertime spells beach, bikini and envy-worthy Instagram posts.
Back at work and dreaming of salty swims and lazing under the sun’s warm rays? Don’t worry the best of summer is still yet to come and though we might not all have endless days to lounge by the pool, we thoroughly recommend squeezing in those moments whenever possible.
So to help us all survive until the next carefree beach day, we’ve compiled a list of our favourite Kiwi celebrities that are giving us the ultimate happy summer feels this season.
Scroll through the gallery below to check out what some of our New Zealand celebrities have been up to this summer:
Lorde gave us ultimate beachwear inspiration with this tonal pink bikini and shirt combo and a straw hat with black tie detailing.
The winner of 2017’s The Bachelor, Viarni Bright, proved that the best thing about summer is hanging out with your girl squad. So make like Viarni, grab some of your best gal pals and head to the beach – Mount Maunganui is clearly a must.
We’re all about getting that much needed Vitamin D and this smiley post from Jaime Ridge on Christmas Day reminds us to keep up that #summermood. So make the most of soaking up those sun rays and smiles.

What could be more dreamy than the thought of a surprise summer getaway with your SO? Hannah Laity’s snap of her spontaneous break gave us ultimate summer feels. And it just got even better with her engagement announcement to All Black Beauden Barrett not long after. We’re swooning and seriously that view though?!

With a surfboard in tow, Silver Fern Kayla Cullen hit Langs Beach and inspired us to give a water sport a go this summer. So whose adding this to their New Year’s resolution?
Georgia Fowler made a day in the Coromandel look extra stylish wearing a Matteau The Petite triangle bikini top. The Victoria’s Secret model traveled back to NZ briefly for the summer and captioned this photo “missing this already, summer.” And since we’re back at work – us too Georgia Fowler, us too.
