We sat down with LA-based New Zealand actor Rose McIvor to ask her the burning questions you wanted to know.

Rose McIver’s first exposure to the film industry was at 18 months old, playing the role of a toddler for a New Zealand short film. Now aged 30, and with a string of successful roles in TV and film to her name, she splits her time between the US and New Zealand, where Rose benefits from the best of both worlds.

During her most recent stint on home soil, topping up on Vogel’s and Marmite no doubt, we sat down with Rose to chat to her for the latest issue of Fashion Quarterly about what it is to be a Kiwi representing New Zealand on the global stage.

After our call-out on social media, in which hundreds of you put your questions to us, we sat down and put them to Rose, and what she shared about her favourite projects to date, her go-to New Zealand designers and her secret spots across our beautiful nation were enlightening, sweet, funny and inspiring.

To read more, and see the beautiful shoot, pick up a copy of Fashion Quarterly, Issue 1 2019, on sale now.

And in the meantime, watch Rose McIver answer your burning questions above.

Daffodils, which follows a bittersweet love story told with beautiful re-imaginings of iconic New Zealand songs, will be released on March 21, 2019.
