Somehow, artist Sally Spratt seems to know just what we’re currently coveting in any given moment and packages them up into beautiful sketches and watercolours on her Instagram, The Lust List. Now in collaboration with beauty brand Ultraceuticals, Spratt has designed luxury gift sets containing the best of Ultraceuticals skincare presented in beautifully illustrated keepsake boxes.

To celebrate the partnership, we asked Spratt some quickfire questions about her inspiration, her skincare routine and her Christmas plans:

What was featured on the first ever Lust List?
It was a Gianvito Rossi cut-out suede sandal.

What inspires you?
I am inspired by beauty in nature, art, fashion, illustration and sculpture.

What is your favourite pasttime?
I would have to say drawing. I have always loved it and I have drawn ever since I can remember. This is a hobby I have been lucky enough to build a career on and I am so grateful for that.

Name three things you can’t live without:
Friends & family, exercise and my phone.

Do you love dogs or cats?
I’m a big dog person! I love their ability to love and their excited faces every time you see them. I may be a little biased as I’m currently looking at buying one with my partner.

What does Christmas mean to you? How do you celebrate?
I love Christmas. I love the buzz and excitement in the lead-up, the smell of the fresh pines from the Christmas trees, the annual tree decorating that happens at the family home and the last minute rush to find just the right presents for friends and family.

What has been the best part of working on this collaboration?
The best part is working with such beautiful products that I love and use regularly. I have such respect for these products and they are part of my daily beauty routines.

If you could choose a favourite Ultraceuticals product from the illustration, what would this be?
My favourite illustration would be the Ultra Gentle Exfoliating Gel.

Describe your skincare regimen.
I wash my face with the Ultra Balancing Gel Cleanser and then apply the Ultra Protective Daily Moisturiser SPF 30+. After this, I then apply my makeup.

What skincare product can’t you live without?
My favourite Ultraceuticals product, the Ultra Protective Daily Moisturiser SPF 30+. This is the best – is has a sheer tint which allows you to still look fresh-faced and polished without trying too hard. It’s a staple.
