During New York Fashion Week today, Opening Ceremony bucked runway trends in favour of a one-act play, directed and written by Spike Jonze with the help of Jonah Hill.

Starring model Karlie Kloss and actress Dakota Fanning among others, the play was set during a model casting while displaying the label’s range for SS15.

The collection itself, titled 100% Lost Cotton, was “inspired by simpler times, the innocence of suburban adolescence and teen rebellion”. That translated into a palette of blush pink and tangerine, and woven jacquard crop tops, pleats and layered hemlines.
