Phoebe's Spring Picks

FQ’s features writer Phoebe Watt shares what’s on her shopping list this spring:

THE SHOES
Chloé studded mules, $898 from Workshop
“Like my spirit animal Kim Craig, of Kath & Kim fame, I love me a clacky mule. These Chloés are just the right combination of nice, different and unusual.”

THE INVESTMENT PIECE
Acne Studios ‘Tag’ denim jacket, $455 from acnestudios.com
“There’s been a denim jacket shaped hole in my wardrobe ever since 14-year-old me hastily discarded the trusty Just Jeans Kids number that, cruelly, I’d still fit today. This Acne denim jacket isn’t the same level of investment as an Acne leather jacket, but it’s investment enough that I’m unlikely to toss it out when I think I’m over it.”

THE MUST-HAVE ACCESSORY
MPNT for Kate Sylvester Cross Necklace, $195
“I’ve never been to church in my life but whether in spite of, or because of that, my love for religious accessories knows no bounds. I never met a cross I didn’t want to bear.”

THE SPRING WARDROBE STAPLE
Calvin Klein ‘Tilia’ t shirt, $94.95
“If it was good enough for Ms Moss in the nineties and it’s good enough for Kendall today, it’s good enough for me. I can’t wait to wear this Calvin Klein cropped t shirt with denim cut-offs, bare feet and a faux glow.”

THE LONG-TIME LOVE
Lonely Swim ‘Dita’ Swimsuit, $199
“Put off by the weird tan-line potential, I bypassed this beautiful swimsuit last summer. But what can I say, it pulled me in like a riptide this year. I’ll be sun-blocking extra vigilantly, but since when was that a bad thing?”
