Project Runway star Tim Gunn hates on Emily Ratajkowski’s dress with an opinion straight out of the 1950s.
First off, we give it up to Emily Ratajkowski for rocking this dress. She wore fashion-forward Julien MacDonald gown the to the Harper’s Bazaar party in New York earlier this week – and while she’s gotten a lot of love, she’s also gotten plenty of heat from the haters.
Fashion personality, Tim Gunn – clearly in the haters camp – got really worked up over the star’s style choice, going as far to call her low-cut look “just vulgar and repugnant”.
Co-hosting on E!’s Fashion Police he then went on to say this: “If I saw this at a party, all I could do would be to drink. I couldn’t eat. There’s absolutely no way,” Gunn griped. “This dress is so appallingly vulgar and revealing. Why wear anything? Why not just take it all off?”
Co-host NeNe Leakes attempted to defend the dress but only succeeded in setting off another tirade.
“Is this all just about [making] everybody shocked? And I will tell you I’m not shocked… This is just vulgar and repugnant.”
Emily took to Twitter to hit back at Tim’s remarks by delivering a feminist reminder to those who feel they can dictate what women can and can’t wear.
It's 2016. Why keep trying to dictate what women can wear?

then want women to cover up their "vulgar" bodies at home.

Tim Gunn also made headlines this week for his comments about Kayne West’s fashion line Yeezy.
“I’m totally perplexed about why the fashion industry has not looked at these, frankly, dumb, basic clothes and cried ‘hoax,’” Gunn told Access Hollywood Live.
“Kanye West is a sphinx without a riddle. I just don’t understand why people are so in awe. [The models in the show were] basically wearing stretch undergarments.”
