Kylie’s arm model is always close by
Makeup mogul Kylie Jenner’s Snapchats of her newest product swatches send us, her devoted/obsessed fans, into a total frenzy not just because we’re super-excited about the next drop, but also because the colours are so covetable and unlike anything else on the market.
Given her casual social media shares aren’t a photo studio level of profesh, we’ve often wondered who she has around modelling her makeup, and it turns out we’re not the only ones who’ve been thinking about this either. Fast Company has revealed that the makeup model rocking Kylie’s swatches is none other than her housekeeper.
Say what??!! Yep, you heard right, gals. The famous arm belongs to her housekeeper.
We’re not all that surprised given the burgeoning beauty businesswoman has been named one of the Most Creative People in Business in 2017.
Her swatch reveal probably is probably one her most innovative marketing tools. So the fact that she uses her housekeeper to create those perfect colour swipes, rather than her model sister or famous friends, means she’s doing all she can to get her products out there fast. You gotta give her props!
“Everyone knows when I’m releasing a product on Snapchat that I will be MIA for the next hour and a half,” she told Fast Company. “I’m running around my house, finding the perfect lighting, the perfect swatches. My housekeeper, I use her arm for my Snapchats. She has the best arm for swatches. She’s so nice and just sits there and has her arm ready and lets me do my thing. I care a lot about what my products look like when people first see them.”
