Kiwi model Georgia Fowler to walk in Victoria’s Secret show

The Aucklander will make her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut in Paris next month.

Georgia Fowler confirmed today she will join the elite few who can claim to have pulled on a pair of those famous angel wings for the extravaganza that is the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Fowler shared her excitement on her Instagram, posting: “⭐️💫I can’t contain my excitement any longer 💫✨ I am confirmed for Victoria Secret Fashion Show! 💕 Thank you for making my dream come true @victoriassecret @johndavidpfeiffer @10magazine & Monica Mitro @imgmodels ⭐️This means the world to me!”

She is one of a very select few New Zealanders to have modeled for Victoria’s Secret. Other Kiwis who have appeared for the lingerie brand include Stella Maxwell and Jessica Clarke.

Fowler grew up in Auckland’s Eastern Suburbs and attended Diocesan School for Girls. She was a Fashion Quarterly cover girl in 2015, joining fellow Kiwi models Liv O’Driscoll, Georgia Pratt, Holly Rose Emery and Anmari Botha for the best-selling Autumn 2015 issue.

She made headlines earlier this year after posting Snapchats featuring One Direction singer Harry Styles, sparking rumours the two were dating. Soon after, she was photographed partying with Leonardo Dicaprio in Cannes. Lucky lady.

The Kiwi beauty had her breakthrough moment on the international scene in 2013, walking in the Chanel Resort show.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will be filmed next next month and will air on Dec. 5, 2016, at 10 p.m. EST.
