Kate Moss stumbling around in London’s Thames river with a glass of champagne and a lit cigarette? While we secretly kind of wish this was party queen Kate on one of her famous rock ‘n roll benders, it is some consolation to know she was in fact filming her guest appearance in the forthcoming Absolutely Fabulous movie.

The supermodel will join our favourite fashionista duo Edina and Patsy as they make their big screen debut. Absolutely Fabulous followed the champagne-fulled shenanigans of PR guru Edina and magazine editor Patsy as they poked fun of the fashion industry. The hit 90s TV show was famed for its hilarious A-lister cameos and the film version is set for more of the same.

Kate was papped emerging from the water in a green sequinned Jean Paul Gaultier gown and later, was photographed with the designer himself filming scenes on the banks of the river. Other rumoured cameos include Cara Delevingne, Emma Bunton of Spice Girls fame, Harry Styles and singer Lulu.

Jennifer Saunders, who plays Edina “Eddie” Monsoon in the series and film, said earlier this year she was “thrilled and excited to finally start filming. We are all taking our medication and hoping for the best.”

Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie is slated for release in 2016.
