In a world where Grumpy Cat attends the Grammys and famous bunny rabbits have more Instagram followers than you, it’s not particularly surprising to learn that our four-legged friends are now capable of penning their own books, too.

Choupette, the pampered house cat of Karl Lagerfeld, will reveal details of her jet-setting lifestyle in a new book, titled Choupette: The Private Life of a High-Flying Fashion Cat, to be released in the next few months.

The 128-page tome, actually written by Patrick Mauriès and Jean Christophe Napias, has advice from Choupette’s favourite maid (she has two) and personal vet, featuring sections on diet, beauty, healthcare and fashion.

Imagery of of the feline will be shot by Karl himself, and the book will also feature some of her famous friends, including Linda Evangelista and Laetitia Casta.

The news comes as the three-year-old cat fronts a campaign for Japanese makeup brand Shu Uemura.
