With towering trees and custom made features from Paris, Kris Jenner’s latest Christmas creation is truly spectacular. We take a tour of her festive home
Six towering nut crackers, five giant evergreen trees, three mechanical reindeer and one life-size custom made glass bear. This may sound like a crazy version of the Twelve Days of Christmas, but it’s actually the key elements of Kris Jenner’s Christmas décor this year.
Momager and matriarch of the reality TV Kardashian clan, Kris Jenner has never been one for subtle style, and is known for her over-the-top festive styling.
This year, however, Jenner may have just created her most outrageous and spectacular Christmas yet. She teamed up with famous LA floral designer and long-time friend, Jeff Leatham, to create this North Pole meets Willy Wonka wonderland – or, as Leatham calls it ‘Kandyland-chic’.
The magic begins outside where six enormous and two miniature nutcrackers stand amongst garlands of fir and fairy lights. Jenner has mentioned that her grandchildren will be in charge of naming them.
Inside the glam goes up a notch. Long stem roses float spill from reindeer antler chandeliers and float mid-air above the dining table, which is laden in rose bowls and crimson tartan.
A total of five Christmas trees fill the grand foyer, each adorned in tonnes of twinkling lights. In fact, it took nearly 24 hours to assemble them all! Jenner believes the tree is always the hardest part of the décor decisions, as it sets the tone for the rest of the house. This year the tree groans under peppermint swirls and oversized baubles in candy cane colours.
You would think five trees and balustrades festooned in cedar, noble and douglas fir would be enough of a Christmas statement, but Jenner has gone one further and commissioned a custom made red metal and glass polar bear that she had flown in from Paris!
Although the living room theme colour is white, it’s no less subdued than the rest of the house. Three mechanical reindeer stand alongside the fireplace, where luxe fluffy santa stockings hang and a sculpture of bubbling baubles is draped.
The finer details help to complete Jenner’s Christmas look, like the little gingerbread men with icing scarves and tiny cake presents.
Love it or hate it, Kris Jenner is definitely taking Christmas style to a whole new level.
