Red carpet hits & oh god nos: Emmy Awards

19 September 2016

What a night!

The 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards was steaming hot. And no, we don’t just mean the 86 degree temperature. No matter the heat in Los Angeles, the show still went on and the celebs definitely brought their fashion A-game this year… well most did.

Kerry Washington was one of the highlights of the night. Her red carpet look could not be flawed, with glowing makeup, natural hair and a breathtaking, custom-made gown flaunting her baby bump. We aren’t sure if it was the pregnancy glow or just sweat dewiness, but whatever it was Kerry looked stunning.

Kristen Bell’s Zuhair Murad Fall 2016 Couture was super elegant and dreamy.  Bright yellow was hands-down the colour of the night and Taraji P. Henson also did the hue justice in Vera Wang.

As per in the hot-stakes, Heidi Klum wore a Michael Kors gown showing off her award-winning body.

Next on our best dressed list was Emily Ratajkowski… After Tim Gunn last week called her look “vulgar” and “repugnant” Emily definitely shut him up (and the other rude critics) when she stepped out in a STUNNING midnight blue Zac Posen gown.

Other looks that rocked the red carpet were Kirsten Dunst in Givenchy, Sofia Vergara in Atelier Versace and Priyanka Chopra in Jason Wu.

But unfortunately as always not everyone rose to the occasion, with Laura Carmichael wearing Delpozo whose choice of dress was a big ‘oh no’ moment in our opinion.

Flick through to see all of the red carpet looks at the 2016 Emmys.
