Alexander Wang’s highly anticipated debut Denim collection has finally arrived in New Zealand and is available exclusively at Workshop. After two years researching fit and fabrication, Wang has finally perfected two classic cut styles of denim – Wang 001 Skinny and Wang 003 Boy.
More of a ‘slim’ fit than a ‘skinny’, the Wang 001 is a high rise style that sits at the waist while the Wang 003, a low ride style with a wide tapered leg, was cut specifically to create the perfect ‘baggy’ look – especially when cuffed. “I hate it when you roll them and your ankle is swimming, so I cut it so you roll it twice and it stays pegged,” says Wang.
Manufactured in Los Angeles, both styles have matte black rivets and are available in Medium indigo and Black for $398.
