“If you can’t have hair, have diamonds instead!”

While we all oohed and ahhed at how striking the this year’s Met Gala red carpet looks were, it was Cara Delevingne’s bald, no hair ‘do that inspired a cause beyond fashion.

8-year-old cancer sufferer Brooklyn Hutchinson is going viral for her first professional makeover, which was inspired by the model’s stunning silver hairless transformation, after losing her own locks to chemotherapy treatments.

Glamsquad Academy MUA Fiona was the artist behind Brooklyn’s glamorous look and said in one of her Instagrams that “this little lady is fighting cancer for the second time and she’s doing it with gusto!”

Cara, who originally shaved her head for her role in the upcoming movie Life in a Year where she plays a dying teen with a year left to live, has regrammed the brave 8-year-old’s photos and has called Brooklyn her ‘hero’.

As the young Cara Delevingne fan explained, “if you can’t have hair, have diamonds instead!” So inspiring!
