The special invitation came directly from the show’s exec producer.
Cara Delevinge has been asked to walk this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion show without casting, as the VS production makes every effort to distance itself from rumours the model was too “bloated” to walk the 2014 show.
VS executive producer Edward Razek reached out to Cara personally, stating The Sun’s story on her not walking the 2014 show was “a complete fabrication”.
Cara Instagrammed the letter, dated November 3 2016, which read:

“It’s shameless to discuss women’s bodies just to sell papers #bloated,” she said in the caption, followed by a heart emoji directed at Victoria’s Secret.
Cara walked Victoria Secret shows in 2012 and 2013. The Sun published she was turned down from walking the following year “for being bloated.”
As the letter clarifies, scheduling conflicts were the real reason as to why the 24-year-old model was unable to attend the December 2014 fashion show
At the time, Cara was shooting her movie Paper Towns in North Caroline when the London VS show was due to take place.
The letter closes with a warm invitation to the model asking her if she’d like to walk this year’s show. “If you’re free on November 30, please join us in Paris,” the exec wrote, and added: “No casting necessary!”
Cara’s not letting on yet if she will if she won’t, but we’ve got our fingers crossed!
