Britney Spears can now add professional artist to her resume, after an artwork she painted sold at auction in Las Vegas for USD $10,000.
The floral composition was donated to Vegas Cares at the Venetian with all proceeds going towards commemorating the victims of the Las Vegas shooting.
The lucky punter who took home the Piece of Me singer’s piece of art is Robin Leach, former host of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.
Prior to the auction, Britney posted a short video on social media of her putting brush to canvas in a delicate manner to the musical accompaniment of Mozart.
Firstly, how cute is her painting shirt loosely slung over her white cropped sports bra? And secondly, first painting? Yeah, right. That shirt has definitely seen some painting sessions before.

Call it what you will, but raising $10,000 with a couple of pretty flowers and a flourish of whimsical brush strokes is an incredible gesture nonetheless. Besides, Britney has always been an artist in her own right. You know, of the musical variety!
