Crocs at Christopher Kane LFW

No no no no no no!

The controversial shoe made an appearance at Christopher Kane’s spring ’17 collection during London Fashion Week – and they’ve been the most talked-about accessory ever since.

The Scottish designer added sparkling rocks and crystals to the shoes so-loved by only a minority of people – including but not limited to surfers, gardeners and hospital workers – and the reaction was mixed.

Some people freaked out, most sat on the fence about how they felt and a few praised the daring choice of footwear.

Style Bubble blogger Susanna Lau said: “And yes… @Crocs x @ChristopherKane just happened and … I like them?” while Elle UK editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy tweeted: “Personally crocs make me very angry but @ChristopherKane makes me very happy so I am torn. Exhilarating show #LFW”

Love ’em or hate ’em, the one universal consensus? Kane’s show was a LFW stand-out.

Kane does Crocs. Will you wear them ? #christopherkane #crocs #dedicatedfollower #keepitchic #lfw #ss17
