You have to see Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar’s unforgettable BET Awards performance

The fierce choreography, the sparks, the smoke; these two are on fire!

Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar kicked off the annual BET Awards with this KILLER performance of their song ‘Freedom’ which features on her most recent album ‘Lemonade’.

Their powerful act wasn’t officially on the bill, making the surprise one to remember.

Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech echoed through the Los Angeles theatre as an intro.

“This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the ‘unalienable Rights’ of ‘life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness,’” he proclaimed. “It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned.”

Then BOOM.

If it were possible to shut a show down before it has barely begun, it would be fair to say these two did it.
