Ed Sheeran sells out stadium shows. But when he offered a private show for $2, hardly anyone took up the offer.

Hmmm, possibly because the British singer-songwriter had been billed as a ‘peep show’, with Australian comedy duo Hamish and Andy attempting to lure in passers-by off the street whilst wearing dodgy get-ups.

Sheeran waited patiently on a stool for about two-and-a-half hours before the first brave souls took up Hamish’s offer. The laid-back couple were suspicious and seemed genuinely surprised when the curtains revealed Ed Sheeran and his guitar. The Thinking Out Loud singer went into a live rendition of his hit song and the gobsmacked couple could hardly believe their luck.
