We’ve got you covered, whether you’re looking for a concoction that’s rich and elegant, refreshing and fruity, sans alcohol, or with an avant-garde twist. 1. Juno 'Off the Beaten Track'
The perfect cocktail for those desiring a sweet and sour vibe.
Ingredients
45ml Juno Autumn 2022 Gin
15ml lemon juice
15ml maple syrup
60ml Fever-Tree Ginger Ale
2 thin ginger slices
5 mint leaves
Ice
Method
In a short glass muddle the ginger.
Add 5 mint leaves and top glass with ice.
Add the rest of the ingredients and stir.
2. Twelfth Hour gin, lime & basil
A gin drink that brings a zing to your senses.
Ingredients
45ml Twelfth Hour Dry Gin
60ml homemade lime / basil cordial
60ml soda water
Zest from 6 limes
1 cup caster sugar
1 cup lime juice
½ cup water
Ice
Dehydrated lime round (for garnish)
Method
Muddle together lime zest and caster sugar until sugar is bright green. Pour mixture into a pot.
Add lime juice and water and put over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Then, strain and chill.
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with plenty of ice. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass, and garnish with a dehydrated lime round.
3. Seedlip Garden 108 Eastside
A zesty, non-alcoholic take on the classic Eastside cocktail.
Ingredients
50ml Seedlip Garden 108
25ml lime juice
3 cucumber slices
5 mint leaves
Ice
25ml Simple syrup*
Cucumber ribbon (for garnish)
Simple syrup ingredients
1 cup white sugar
1 cup water
Method
Muddle cucumber slices and mint leaves in a cocktail shaker.
Add Seedlip Garden 108, simple syrup*, lime juice and ice to the shaker.
Shake and double strain into a coupe glass, and garnish with cucumber ribbon.
*To make the simple syrup, add the sugar and water to a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Let syrup cool, then pour into a glass jar and seal tightly with a lid. The sugar syrup will keep, refrigerated, for about one month.
4. Scapegrace 'Vodkacrema'
A rich cocktail reminiscent of the quintessential New Zealand flat white.
Ingredients
45ml Scapegrace vodka
30ml cold drip coffee concentrate
15ml coconut water
Gin and juice (to taste)
Soda water (to taste)
Ice
Flaked coconut (for garnish)
Lime (for garnish)
Method
Add all ingredients to a shaker. Shake hard until the shaker is frosted.
Strain the mixture over large format ice into a short glass, and garnish with flaked coconut and lime.
5. Sheep Dog Peanut Butter martini
A simple-to-make drink with a peanut butter twist.
Ingredients
30ml Sheep Dog Peanut Butter Whiskey
60ml espresso martini mix (or 30ml black coffee and 30ml coffee liqueur)
Ice
Coffee beans (for garnish)
Method
Shake all ingredients together and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with coffee beans.
