In need of a piece to see you through the unpredictable weather? Supporting independent creatives never goes out of style.

A piece of wardrobe advice that you’ll see cropping up time after time is to always check the weather for the day ahead. But how does one fare when the climate is anything but predictable?

Layering is a great place to start: think a tank top with a silk shirt thrown over it, finished off with a blazer — just be sure to travel with a tote bag should you need to strip back. Likewise, skirts or dresses layered with tights that can be ditched at a moment’s notice will do the trick when humidity strikes. Scroll on to discover FQ’s edit of trans-seasonal pieces on offer from an exciting bunch of local independent designers.
