The Shit Show podcast by the wildly popular instagram page Shit You Should Care About. It’s part current affairs, part pop culture and provides a smart (and funny) start to your day.
4. What you’re reading:
Greta & Valdin by Rebecca K Reilly. The book, set in Auckland, has been called fresh and funny — a dose of which I could do with this summer.
5. What’s in your beauty bag:
Sharni Darden’s Retinol Reform. I use it every evening, and it makes my skin look brighter and feel tauter.
6. Where you’re travelling to:
Tairua, Coromandel Peninsula. I’m planning multiple swims in the saltwater, fish and chips at the beach, and trips to the ice cream shop every other day.

The Sweet Bobby podcast. Topping the charts everywhere, it’s an incredible listen about a real-life catfisher.

The Chiffon Trenches by author, fashion journalist, and former Vogue creative director André Leon Talley.
5. What’s in your beauty bag:
Chloe Zara silk hair balm. It’s so nourishing and the sandalwood, pineapple, fig and saffron scent is sublime.
6. Where you’re travelling to:
Port Underwood, Malborough Sounds. After the year that’s been, I’m in dire need of a few sleep-ins, good food, and quality time spent with best friends.

I always find the Ted Talks podcasts really interesting so I’ll probably listen to a few of those while going for walks

If I get a chance, I’ve downloaded these two books on my kindle: Shoe Dog: A Memoir by the creator of Nike, and Ghosts by Dolly Alderton.
5. What’s in your beauty bag:
The Ultraceuticals UV Protective Daily Moisturiser SPF 30 Sheer Tint. It’s perfect with concealer or mixed with foundation for greater coverage.
6. Where you’re travelling to:
I’m spending Christmas with my sister and her family in Wellington, then a cheeky two days (child-free) in Marlborough at a vineyard with girlfriends, before making my way back north.
