Her single ‘Medicine’ has us hooked, so we asked Nelson-based singer-songwriter Robinson — AKA NZ’s next big thing in music — to share a few of her own addictions.

Style icons: Bella Hadid, Selena Gomez and Dua Lipa. I really love the way they all step outside the box and wear such a huge range of bright colours, patterns and styles. It makes every one of their outfits seem fresh and cool. Fashion being a huge outlet for self-expression, I also feel like these outfits give me an insight into their personalities.

Fantasy buy: The ‘All Seeing Eye’ skirt and jacket by Dilara Findikoglu. These pieces encapsulate exactly the kind of fashion I love.

Ultimate accessory: The ‘Peachy’ hoops by Creeps and Violets are unreal.

It-bag: Deadly Ponies’ Mr Porter Crepe. It’s the perfect size and makes me think I could do a Mary Poppins and carry my whole life in there.

Makeup must-haves: Burt’s Bees Rose Tinted Lip Balm, which I love because it gives a very natural deep pink/watermelon glow to your lips. I also favour Dior Skin Forever Undercover Foundation for the dewy look it gives me, and my MAC rounded slant brush is heavenly.

Go-to shoe: At the moment, it’s my Superga Linea Up and Down white trainers, because they’re perfect for travelling and running to all my sessions.

Album currently on repeat: Ctrl by SZA. I love the journey this album takes me on. My favourite song off it is ‘Drew Barrymore’.

Desert island TV series: The Handmaid’s Tale or Friends. Either of those would keep me entertained for a while.

Gym bag essentials: Lululemon Wunder Under Leggings. Seriously the best fit.

Can’t-put-it-down book: The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood. I was told to watch it by someone on Twitter, and I’m obsessed!

Holiday destination you rate: Marlborough Sounds in New Zealand. We used to holiday here when I was a kid so I have a lot of fond memories of the place and it’s awesome going back. I’d also love to go to Italy one day.

Wardrobe staples: Beautiful knits for cold NZ winters —Wynn Hamlyn is my go-to for these. Another essential of mine is a great pair of well-fitted pants. I love my I.Am.Gia ‘Mira’ pants.
