International fashion retailer H&M is bringing a second store to Auckland’s CBD and it’s set to be the largest in the country.
Spanning approximately 3,500 square metres across four levels, the flagship New Zealand H&M store will include apparel and accessories for Women, Men, Kids and Baby and Home.
The store – which will be referred to as H&M Commercial Bay – will be situated on the corner of Customs and Queen Street launching August 30, 2018.
According to Apparel Magazine, the location is part of a $681 million downtown Auckland development run by Precinct.

“We are excited to finally be able to announce the opening of our Commercial Bay store on 30th August and to be able to offer our customers two incredible fashion shopping destinations within Auckland,” said Hans Andersson, Country Manager for H&M Australia and New Zealand.
“We are also looking forward to introducing the H&M Home concept to our Auckland customers as we feel this really rounds out our wide assortment offering for this flagship store.”
Since arriving in New Zealand in 2016, Commercial Bay marks the fourth opening of the affordable fashion retailer joining Sylvia Park (Auckland), The Crossing (Christchurch) and Queensgate (Wellington).
