Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen will star in a new advertisement for Chanel No. 5 directed by Baz Luhrmann.

A spokesperson for Chanel said the mother-of-two was chosen to front the campaign because of her natural beauty and modern feminitiy.

Luhrmann, who directed Nicole Kidman in a campaign for the iconic fragrance in 2004, follows a long list of prestigious directors like Ridley Scott and Jean-Pierre Jeunet.

The new campaign will be released at the end of the year.
