Are you sick of bobby pins sliding through your hair when attempting an up do? Spray a little dry shampoo to your clips. Voila!

  1. Stop your fringe from sticking
No one likes a shiny forehead but an even worse look is when your fringe gets oily and sticks to your face. Gross, we know. To rectify this problem spray some dry shampoo to the underneath of your fringe and you won’t have to worry.
  2. Locks in a backcomb/teased hair
Dry shampoo is a great alternative to hairspray when you’re after a more subtle backcomb. The other bonus is that it’s super easy to brush through the next day.
  3. Bobby pin grip
Are you sick of bobby pins sliding through your luscious lock when attempting an up do? Before you use them to secure your hair in place, spray a little dry shampoo to your clips. Voila!
  4. Add texture & volume
Don’t let your hair fall flat; spray in some Batiste Cherry Dry Shampoo, $12.99, for some volume and massage in to thicken.

Another great product, although it’s not strictly a dry shampoo, is the Batiste Plumping Powder, $15.99, which is also great for adding body and texture to limp hair.

  5. Conceals dark roots for blondes
Light-haired beauties, listen up. If you haven’t tried the Batiste Light and Blonde Dry Shampoo, $12.99, in between colourist appointments yet go down to your local Farmers and buy yourself a can STAT! It’s doesn’t exactly mimic a fresh colour, but the spray will lighten your roots so it’s not so noticeable that you’re a few weeks late visiting the hairdressers. You’re welcome!

  6. Tame brows
Everyone loves a bushy brow but sometimes they get a bit unruly and need to be tamed. Spray some Batiste Dry Shampoo Brunette, $12.99, to a spoolie brush and comb through.

  7. Deodorise smelly shoes
Have you run out of Gran’s Remedy? No worries! Spray some Batiste Tropical Dry Shampoo, $12.99, in your favourite pair of shoes for an interim fix.

  8. Back it up
Don’t you hate it when you go to curl your hair and realise you’ve curled one side the wrong way? Doh! Simply spray through some dry shampoo and brush through with a paddle brush to reverse your wrongs. Now you can start again! This tip is also good if you want a different style on day three from day two.
