1. Alla Prima
Following its debut on the runway at Āhua, ‘alla prima’ marks the latest collection from Auckland-based brand Oosterom. Referencing the wet-on-wet painting technique and immediacy of Johannes Vermeer, it moves through sheer layers, velvet and fluid silhouettes designed to be worn together. Made-to-order in New Zealand, the collection centres on instinctive dressing and pieces that settle into a wardrobe over time.
2. Step into the Kérastase Gloss Studio
This month, Kérastase is bringing an elevated take on the iconic photobooth to Auckland’s waterfront, inviting visitors to step inside a world of shine at a special activation celebrating its newest haircare innovation. For one weekend only, the Kérastase Gloss Studio will pop up in the Commercial Bay Precinct Courtyard, just outside the Queens entrance, on Saturday 28 March and Sunday 29 March from 10am to 6pm. Guests will leave with a physical photo strip as a keepsake, along with a Kérastase mini product to continue the gloss experience at home. As an added bonus, the first 50 attendees each day will receive a Kérastase goody bag filled with six surprise products from the range.

3. Tradition, three ways
Just in time for Easter, Knead on Benson introduces a trio of elevated hot cross buns, reimagined through an Italian panettone lens. Each batch is developed over 48 hours, using a sourdough starter and a blend of New Zealand flours for a soft, lasting texture. The range spans a classic spiced fruit, chocolate & citrus, and a rich sticky date – each finished with a carefully balanced glaze that leans just sweet enough. Available now at Knead on Benson, Takapuna Beach Cafe, and select Farro stores.
4. Inside the archive
Juliette Hogan is opening the archive for a limited four-day online sale, offering a selection of past-season pieces to shoppers across New Zealand. Think signature prints, soft cotton-cashmere, workwear and occasion-ready styles, all reduced by up to 70 percent. The sale will run until midnight on Monday 30 March. With limited quantities available, you won’t want to miss this.
