5 things we loved this week

15 October 2025
By Sophie de Renzy

From Zoë & Morgan celebrating 20 years in business to Natasha Wright’s striking new exhibition, here is everything the FQ team is loving this week.

1. Golden years

Zoë & Morgan celebrates 20 years of artistry and adventure with Twenty — a collection that honours the beauty of legacy and the spirit of evolution. Founded by siblings Zoë, Morgan, and Ruth, the New Zealand jewellery house has grown from a family workshop into a global name synonymous with craftsmanship, connection, and conscious design. Each piece reflects their heritage in silversmithing and their commitment to ethical creation — stories told in gold, silver, and stone.

2. Main Character

Sanderson presents ‘Main Character’, the latest exhibition by Natasha Wright, on view from 15 October to 9 November. Wright’s nine large canvases explore the female form with a haunting, poetic intensity — women half-emerged from paint, inhabiting their space with a magnetic self-awareness. Built from layers of pigment enriched with the remnants of past paintings and advertising, each figure carries the history of the female form, reimagined through Wright’s sweeping, calligraphic strokes. In a time when women’s autonomy feels under scrutiny, Wright’s heroines assert themselves as protagonists of their own myths — sensual and unapologetically powerful.

3. Tailoring comes to town

Australian tailoring house P.Johnson brings its signature blend of sophistication and ease to Auckland with an exclusive trunk show at ECC from Wednesday 22 to Sunday 26 October. Known for redefining modern tailoring through relaxed precision and refined craftsmanship, P.Johnson offers both made-to-measure and ready-to-wear collections that move effortlessly between morning and evening. Expect unstructured silhouettes, a refined palette of beiges, creams, and greys, and fabrics that breathe sophistication. Styled by Creative Director Tamsin Johnson, the ECC showroom embodies the brand’s modern restraint—timeless, adaptable, and thoughtfully composed. A celebration of dressing well, without the effort.

4. The power of red

Celebrating 15 years of skin-changing innovation, O COSMEDICS stands at the meeting point of beauty and science. Founded by industry visionary Maria Enna-Cocciolone, the brand pioneered the ‘Cosmedical’ category — where cosmetics meet medical-strength ingredients — to deliver real, lasting results. With an education-first philosophy and formulations rooted in functional actives, O COSMEDICS has redefined what it means to treat the skin. Marking this milestone, the brand unveils a limited-edition design of its cult Gentle Antioxidant Cleanser — five bold red symbols honouring passion, transformation, and the heart behind one of skincare’s most trusted names.
