From premium tees courtesy of Rachel Mills to a beloved North Shore cafe’s brand new era, these are all the shops, drops, the FQ team are coveting this week.

1. Be a Premium Girl

Missed out the first time round? You’re in luck as Rachel Mills’ limited-edition Premium Girl merch is back. Created in collaboration with Constance Mary Holden McDonald, the design is a cheeky nod to fibre obsession. Available in both baby tee and oversized fits, each piece is carefully cut, sewn, and printed in-house. So, what are you waiting for? Stake your claim as a Premium Girl.

2. Freshly brewed duo

Two beloved Kiwi brands have joined forces to create the ultimate winter ritual. Ashley & Co.’s cult Lip Punch range has gotten a new buttery addition: Tint Me Lip Punch Coffee Date. To mark the launch, they’ve collaborated with Ozone Coffee on a custom blend inspired by the balm’s warm, comforting tone. Think sweet notes of milk chocolate, honeycomb and vanilla, perfectly paired with the nourishing balm enriched with Arabica Bean Oil. The duo is available online and in Ozone eateries nationwide, sold separately or as a bundle.

3. Dinner by the shore

For over 15 years, Takapuna Beach Café has been a North Shore favourite. Now, having secured an alcohol license and extended its hours through to 8pm, it’s ready to shine well past sunset. The café now offers a refined dinner menu by head chef Devon Pizarro, highlighting seasonal, local ingredients such as line-caught fish, hand-cut pasta, and oysters three ways. Complemented by a curated New Zealand-focused boutique wine list and polished yet relaxed service led by hospitality veteran Aaron Caville, it’s the perfect spot for anything from casual drinks on the deck to celebratory dinners.

4. The Original icon

2025 marks the year of the Adidas Superstar. Created for basketball, adopted by streetwear pioneers, and reimagined by each generation, the adidas Superstar returns in a bold new campaign celebrating its legacy of cultural influence. Shot in striking black and white by Thibaut Grevet, Superstar, The Original features a cast of trailblazers including Samuel L. Jackson, Missy Elliott, JENNIE, and Gabbriette. At the heart of the campaign stands the Superstar II – a reimagined take on the iconic shoe available in two classic colourways with enhanced padding in the tongue and collar. Paired with the instantly recognisable Firebird Tracksuit, the campaign creates a look that is a bold tribute to originality.
