5 things we loved this week

By Fashion Quarterly

From a glow-inducing facial to a new collection from Ruby, there are all the shops, drops, and must-haves the FQ team are coveting this week.

1. Zipped up

It all started with a zip. Locket, RUBY’s Spring 2025 collection, is a love letter to the little details that pull a look together – whether it’s a final fastening, a fresh detail on denim, or the ease of slipping into something that just works. This season sees the arrival of new styles – think a utilitarian bomber jacket and 2000’s-coded trackpants – alongside fresh takes on beloved RUBY staples, most notably the Matilda Zip Cardigan, reimagined with a high collar and silver zip in place of its iconic gold buttons. *Adds to cart*.

2. Winter glow

Craving a quick but effective skin reset? Caci’s new Skinsmiths B12 Hydrating Facial is a 30-minute slice of bliss powered by the nourishing Skinsmiths B12 range. Designed to deeply hydrate and revive dull or dehydrated skin, this results-driven treatment begins with a gentle cleanse and enzymatic exfoliation under steam, followed by a B12-infused hydrating mask that cocoons the skin in moisture. The best part? A dreamy neck and shoulder massage that melts away tension while your skin drinks it all in. Available at Caci Wynyard Quarter for $115 as a casual treatment or a Caci Membership Treat.

3. In the night garden

Step into a mystical, moonlit world  with Night Garden, the latest collection from Jojo Ross. Anchored in a moody palette of black, chilled red and acidic pops, the collection conjures a dreamlike realm where sculptural silhouettes meet unexpected texture. Highlights include the return of the coveted Otherworldly Coat in a sumptuous cashmere blend, otherworldly mesh pieces and pleating crafted from Issey Miyake deadstock.  Alongside the launch, Ross has opened a new shared showroom with leather accessories label Mahy in Onehunga – offering clients the opportunity to view their  meticulously crafted, small-run collections by appointment in an intimate, elevated setting.
