Each week the Fashion Quarterly team rounds up what to read, buy, see, shop, eat, and drink.

1. Dr. Martens x Balmain

Paris Fashion Week SS22 Balmain

The Dr. Martens Jadon boot had its moment on the Balmain SS22 runway at Paris Fashion Week, having been dipped in black and white silicone for extra customisation.

An evolution of the classic Dr. Martens eight-eye boot, the Jadon is known for its chunky platform sole and is available in various finishes at drmartens.co.nz

2. Liam Everything

We’re welcoming Liam’s first collection in over a year, titled ‘Everything’. A zero-waste collection, all fabric offcuts generated during production were cut into strips and sent to knitwear brand Geo Knits Slow to produce accompanying hand-knitted pieces.

Liam designer, Emily Miller-Sharma, worked with different body shapes to ensure accuracy in all styles across sizes 4-24, meaning that some garment sizes feature bespoke details like different waistbands and additional darts.

5. Veuve Clicquot x K-WAY

The perfect accessory for your next picnic, Veuve Clicquot has teamed up with outdoor clothing brand K-WAY to produce a stylish ice jacket, keeping your champagne chilled for up to 90 minutes on the go.

The ice jacket is designed to fit Veuve Clicquot’s quintessential Yellow Label—a medium-bodied champagne with notes of citrus and soft-brioche.

After you responsibly enjoy your champagne, the ice jacket transforms into a bag that you can sling over your shoulder or strap around your waist.
