Wellington on a Plate (WOAP) is our favourite time of year. You can keep birthdays, Christmas, and New Year for you. Just give Nom Girls WOAP.

Wellington on a Plate is the biggest celebration of food in the capital, where local eateries get involved in creating special menus, amazing burgers and cocktails and desserts to wow the crowds.

We think that Wellington shines best during WOAP and is worth a visit to nom some delicious food and experience a whole new level of the Wellington food scene. Don’t believe us? We’ve got ten reasons why you should visit Wellington during WOAP.

1. If you love burgers, Burger Welly means you could have one for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the festival and still not eat all the burgers on offer. With 123 burgers and 17 days, it’s a mammoth selection.
