Covet: 'Ahimsa' by Zoe & Morgan

Zoe & Morgan 'Prana' chain in 925 sterling silver.

The prized jewellery brand’s latest curation is inspired by the Hindu principle ‘ahimsa’, to respect living things and do no harm to others. Signet rings and pendants are designed for everyday wear, inscribed with different chakra symbols said to inspire and nurture the wearer’s creativity, emotions, and power.

Breathtaking jewels like the brilliant green chrome diopside stone also feature, and a hand-assembled chain design is a nod to the energy that flows through all beings. Even better, the collection’s styles are designed for effortless layering and stacking with past season treasures.

The latest collection from Calvin Klein is a passionate celebration of the pride community, the campaign heroing LGBTQIA+ friends, partners, lovers, and allies who share what ‘family’ means to them.

The collection spans apparel, underwear, and activewear in colours inspired by the Progress Pride flag, including swirled combinations of these hues in a nod to the spectrum of sexuality and gender identity.

To date, Calvin Klein has committed $400,000 in support of non-profits advocating for LGBTQIA+ equity, advocacy, safety, and justice. In Australia, Calvin Klein has partnered with BlaQ Aboriginal Corporation to strengthen the visibility of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTQIA+ community.

Listen: Chanel's les Rencontres podcast

Ingrid Persaud.

Unveiled in March this year, each episode of the luxury house’s les Rencontres podcast spotlights contemporary female authors who have recently published their first novel.

This podcast is dedicated to young literary creation,” explains Chanel ambassador and spokesperson Charlotte Casiraghi. “We wanted to meet authors who have only just started writing novels. By discovering their writing rituals, their daring, their doubts and their sources of inspiration, we hope to encourage other talented young people to get involved in creation.”

Recorded in either French or English, the most recent podcast episode features writer of ‘Love After Love’ and winner of the Commonwealth Short Story Prize Ingrid Persaud. She discusses her vocation as a writer and her decision to write her first book in her native language, Trinidadian English.

Listen to the podcast via chanel.com or the CHANEL 3.55 Podcast on Apple Podcasts.
