Want to attend Fashion Week with Fashion Quarterly? While we’ll be taking you virtually front row via our social media updates and FQ.CO.NZ coverage during the week, there’s another way you can see Juliette Hogan, Helen Cherry/Workshop, Miss Crabb, Zambesi and TK Store on the runway yourself: By attending our Fashion Quarterly Presents show at New Zealand Fashion Weekend.
Fashion Quarterly Presents brings the pages of your favourite fashion magazine (ahem, that’s us by the way!) to life on the runway, showing an edit of the best garments from some of the best designers in the land. The great part is if you treat shopping as a sport like we do, the fashion on show is both current season or just about to drop in the designer’s own stores. So after the show, you can fire up the credit card and buy what you’ve just seen.
“It’s amazing to partner with these designers that are all so often featured in our pages, for Fashion Quarterly’s show,” says Fashion Quarterly’s editor, Sally-Ann Mullin. “They each bring a unique slice of style to the equation, so you’ll get to see a range of approaches to New Zealand fashion in one exciting show, with the same production values and presentation as you would see during their individual shows. It’s an exciting, inspirational and high energy week, and though much of it is inaccessible being industry-only, that’s the beauty of New Zealand Fashion Weekend. We’re looking forward to being able to share it with you.”
If you need a partner in crime, bring along your male friends as they’ll take away some style inspo too – Zambesi and Workshop will be including key menswear pieces.
