Romantic dresses, playful textures and pieces made to move in. Consider this your guide to channelling the neo-soul artist’s effortlessly cool style ahead of her Western Springs show.

On October 17, Olivia Dean will take to the stage at Tāmaki Makaurau’s Western Springs Stadium, bringing her soulful sound (and equally great wardrobe) back to our shores.

Working with stylist Simone Beyene, the British neo-soul artist has cultivated a style that feels romantic, playful and entirely her own. Think dresses made for twirling, silky separates, fringe, feathers and the occasional flash of sparkle, with Chanel, Burberry, Jacquemus and Conner Ives among the designers she’s been spotted wearing.

So, taking a few cues from Dean herself, the FQ team has assembled an edit of outfits we’d wear to her Auckland show. From embellished denim and effortless pieces made for dancing to ballet flats and statement accessories, consider your concert wardrobe inspiration sorted.
