Did you know that in the UK it’s still legal to make women wear heels in the office?
That sounds pretty absurd to us. Obviously it sounded pretty crazy to the Stylist team too, who made the males in their office don a pair of stilettos and then observed as they tottered dangerously from meeting to meeting and across – gasp – cobblestones.
So how did the men feel about this?
“Oh my god that’s so hard, that’s actually quite scary. It’s a little bit like when you put ice skates on,” one poor chap decreed as he clung to a rail for dear life while scaling some stairs.
Yes guys, it is a lot harder than it looks! And us women are, in some cases, expected to wear these for eight or nine hours straight. Unfair, or what?
