Lily-Rose Depp, Kristen Stewart, Vanessa Paradis, Keira Knightley. Aside from extreme beauty, outstanding careers and wardrobes we can only dream of, what do these ladies have in common? Well,Karl Lagerfeld of course. That is, they’ve all been tapped by Chanel’s creative director to become muses, ambassadors and models for the French fashion house.
In the lead-up to the opening of Chanel’s Mademoiselle Privé exhibition in London, a teaser video has been released capturing behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the women who have enchanted and inspired Lagerfeld over the years.
As well as presenting a history of Chanel Haute Couture and the story of famous fragrance Chanel No5, the exhibition will showcase the newly-reissued ‘Bijoux de Diamants’ jewellery collection, the first and only fine jewellery collection designed by founder Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel in 1932, which was unveiled at July’s Casino-themed autumn/winter 2015 couture show.
If you’re lucky enough to be in London over the next month, the exhibition opens October 13 at Chelesa’s Saatchi Gallery and will run until November 1.
