“I wanted to create a fragrance that recalls the magic of the lights in New York and how the city seems to sparkle in the night,” explains the nose behind the fragrance, Louise Turner. With its irresistible and dazzling floral and gourmand notes, mesmerising Sparkle explores all the enigmatic facets of the city as dusk sets in.
“I remember being in the city years ago, as the sun was going down,” she recalls. “Sipping a delicious blackcurrant cosmopolitan, a gigantic bouquet of peonies placed on the table and smelling the lingering scent of a vanilla crème brûlée that had been delivered to a nearby table. All the scents came together in such an impactful and memorable way.”
An addictive top-note trio of juicy blackcurrant, fresh Italian lemon, and piquant frosted pink peppercorn entrances opens Sparkle before a bouquet of purple peonies and hawthorns bloom at the fragrance’s heart. Sparkle’s base notes of seductive cedar wood and oakwood extracts are given a one-of-a-kind twist with a hint of vanilla crème brûlée note.
